Brett Favre has announced that he is not returning for another season with the NY Jets and is retiring; for good, so he says. Favre gave the Jets a good ride and some thrills, especially in the first half of the season. But whatever Brett does now, its time for the Jets to move forward and let their young up and coming quarterbacks go out there and prove they can get the job done. Its official. The NY Jets aquired Bret Favre from the Green Bay Packers for future draft picks, depending on how often he plays and if the Jets make the playoffs.
