Jets Shock Patriots 16-9
Sunday, September 20, 2009. The New York Jets, who really weren’t in the first half of the game, came to life in the second half to defeat the New England Patriots 16-9. Mark Sanchez only threw five times in the first half, completing three for fifteen yards but finished the game 14 for 22 for 163 yards with one touchdown and no interceptions. The Jets defensive was outstanding again, keeping pressure of Tom Brady throughout the game. The Jets defense has not allowed a touchdown in their first two games.
