Jets Fall to Ravens
Monday, August 24, 2009. The New York Jets lost tonight on Monday night football 24-23. The Jets had a chance at the victory with 22 seconds left but failed on the two point conversion. This was supposed to be Mark Sanchez’s night to shine and claim the starting quarterback job but he did not impress, throwing an interception early on which the Raven ran in for their first touchdown. He completed 3 of 8 for 43 yards. Clemens was next and he he did not impress either, completing 5 of 10 for 60 yards. Third string quarterback Erik Ainge finish the game, leading the reserves to a late touchdown. See this story for more opinion and details.
