Jets Aquire Tight End

The New York Jets aquired tight end Martrez Milner off waivers from the New York Giants.  Milner originally was drafted and signed by the Atlanta Falcons in 2007.  He played in eight regular season games in 2007 but did not play at all in 2008. For more on the Jets plans, see this story.

May 21, 2009.  The New York Jets rookie quarterback prospect Mark Sanchez attended his third practice and got a taste of being the newest rookie on the team.  Things did not go smoothly for the rookie,  who had trouble throwing the ball and missed plays.
