Jets Have a New Defensive Coordinator

The NY Jets new head coach Rex Ryan has brought with him from Baltimore  Mike Pettine and has made him the new defensive coordinator. They have worked together for a long time and make a good team. The new look defense for the Jets will be much more flexible than that enforced by out going head coach Eric Mangini. Jets Hire New Head Coach

The NY Jets announced that the search for a new head coach is over as they have hired Baltimore Ravens Rex Ryan to lead the team for the next few seasons. NY Giants defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo, who was considered by many the front runner for the Jets head caoch position, has signed with the St. Louis Rams as their head coach. Jets Still Searching for Head Coach

The NY Jets are still interviewing for a new head coach. Three of the top choices have now had two interviews although the NY Giants Steve Spagnuollo is still considered the first pick of many. See this article for more details.

Jets Fire Head Coach
